Brown with a creamy, beige head. Aroma full of prunes and plum juice. Understated toffee undertones. Taste is mildly sweet and quite fruity, like a bock with plum juice. Finishes increasingly bitter with a lingering flavor of caramelized nuts. Full-bodied, chewy, lightly warming. No sign of the alcohol. Goes down like a barley wine. The pale lager classification is a poor fit for this brew. More like a hoppy, imperial brown lager.Very nicely done.

0,33 l bottle. BB 30.03.2025. Darkest red brown in the glass, small one finger pale beige head. Sweet malty smell, wine fruity. Taste is dry red fruity, caramel candy with shy sweetness, alcoholic elements. But also slick at the palate. Similar to an Eisbock. Nice one.

Intensiver, süß-malziger Beginn. Gut! 10/9/9/9/10/9
