A blend, of 20% barrel aged beers fermented on Grenache and Mourvèdre grape pomace (fermentation is performed spontaneously thanks to the indigenous yeast strains from the grape skin), and 80% of a fresh wheat farmhouse ale fermented with our house culture (bacterias, wild yeasts and brewer yeasts) after the blending we add hibiscus and lemon balm.

15/II/25 - on tap @ Bar Beenhouwer (Gent), BB: n/a (2025-137)

A little cloudy to almost clear beige blond beer, practically no head. Aroma: very funky, earthy, woody, tea, brett notes, floral touch. MF: soft carbon, medium body. Taste: pretty acidic, lemony, some floral, notes, bitter, quite some tannins. Aftertaste: dry, a bit herbal, floral notes, peaches and apricots, mineral notes, very interesting one!

0,75l bottle at home. BB 05/2032 (Possibly meaning bottled on 05/22?). amber hazy color, small white head. smells fruity, flowery, herbal, hibiscus, grassy, bit citric, subtle berry notes, light tannins. nice smell. light body, soft carbonation. tastes grassy, herbal, earthy, hibiscus, bit flowery, lightly peppery, light tannins, light grape skin notes. finishes lightly dry and lightly bitter with notes of hibiscus, grassy and earthy notes. First beer by this brewery. Pretty good one overall, especially considering the ABV. Hibiscus is the dominating factor here. A tad fizzy. Grape notes are almost not noticeable. Good stuff overall.
