Lige siden 1984 har denne gyldne eksport-øl været en af favoritterne fra Thisted Bryghus' store sortiment. Hemmeligheden er den håndplukkede porse fra Nationalpark Thy, som erstatter en del af humlens bitterstoffer, og giver en rund og dejlig smag til denne klassiker.

Porse Guld er i øvrigt mange unges ”national-øl” i Thy.

Porseplukning foregår hvert år i august måned, og er en begivenhed, der trækker mange folk til fra både nær og fjern.

Porse Guld er en øl, der kan nydes af alle ølnydere og ved alle lejligheder.

Bottle at Krik Vig Camping og Hyttepark. Pours clear golden with white head. Aroma of herbs, porse, light bread, floral notes. Tastes sweet with balancing bitterness.

Flaska av en kompis, tack Tomas! Ljus gyllengul vätska med vitt skumlock. Gräsig doft. Lika gräsig i smaken. Hade förväntat mig en torr, krispig pilsnersmak men denna är snarare mjuk och gräddig. Lite tråkig kemisk beska.

33cl bottle shared by Arve_Christian - thanks! Pours clear golden with a white head. Moderate grainy aroma with some herbal and slightly grassy notes and hints of cooked vegetables. Moderate to medium sweet with a certain bitterness. Fairly decent and refreshing.

Clear golden, frothy white head. Aroma has malt and hints of bog myrtle. Flavour has corn, citrus and malt, hoppy notes and bitterness, perhaps from the the myrtle. Bitter and slightly watery finish.

06.11.2014, 0,33l bottle @ home:
Nice creamy longlasting head, very light color. Aroma is slightly sweet, caramel, wet grain, hay, light malts, nuts, almond essence. Taste is harsh, minerals, paper, weeds, light malts, harsh grass. Medium bitterness, watery and mineraly mouthfeel. Crap!!

50cl bottle shared by dad @ mum’s birthday. Clear golden color, medium sized white head. Smell and taste lightly malts, lightly some herbs, hay, straw, moderately bitter. Not bad, decently crisp.

Keg@Toldbod Bodega, Copenhagen - golden in colour, medium white head and good lacing. Sweet hop taste and aroma quite aromatic with light caramel malts, grass, slight bitter finish. Overall pretty decent for a pilsner. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
