Naturbier

Bottle. Lightly unclear, golden in color and with a dense, finger-thick off-white head leaving lacings. The aroma has a little touch of fruityness and pale malts, but it’s very weak. The flavor is lightly sweet, with fruityness and a pleasant bitterness that adds just a little bit more than balance. Medium to full body, smooth carbonation. Some bitterness in the finish too, finishing quite dry. Certainly a quenching and tasteful one, well worth a revisit. Pity the aroma is so dull. 120217

Bottle, danke Günther. Cloudy dark yellow, fine carbonation, lacing white head. Light citrus and mineral aroma. Leafy and orangepeel entrance, broad citrus base, light salt, ginger retronasal. Medium to light body, mellow mouthfeel, quick finish. Fresh, unobstrusive, a bit watery - good summerbeer.

Swing-top bottle. Slightly sweet creamy malt and grassy hops aroma. Cloudy yellow-tan color with moderate head. Light slight sweet barley malt and tangy grass hops flavor. Pretty light. Not a great deal of flavor but what’s there is nice.

bottle from Bierzwerg. Hazy golden colour with a large white head. Sourish-malty nose. Malty with nice hoppy accents and a good fruity sorness. Fine yeasty character with a rural touch. Good!

Bügelverschlußflasche: Pale golden, hazy, medium sized fluffy head; quite distinctive sweet-malty and a bit yeasty (fruity) nose; soft, sweetish flavour; delicate sweetish-fruity, almost a bit alcoholic finish. Not bad, but not a brew the world was waiting for...............

(swing top bottle) Hazy and cloudy yellow colour with a fluffy blonde foam. Sweet, yeasty, slightly citrus-fruity and slightly worty nose with a tinge of honey. Moderately sweet flavour, light to medium body, lively carbonated mouthfeel; malty and yeasty taste with honey and a restrained fruitiness; yeasty and minimal bitter finish. Still drinkable, but not perfectly balanced and a fairly unripe brew.
