(Draft at Akkurat, Stockholm, 24 May 2025) Golden amber colour with creamy, off-white head. Hoppy nose with citrus, grapefruit, pine needles and crisp-bread. Malty, hoppy taste with notes of crisp-bread, citrus, grapefruit, pine needles and a generous citric/piney bitterness. Medium body, dry. Hoppy and refreshing. Nice one.

Review based on the BJCP2021 guidelines (style 21A). Bottle 33 cl - Batch 882/883 (BB: 01/2025). AROMA: medium-high hop aroma notes (peach, ripe melon, slight pine). medium-low neutral and slightly sweet malt background. faint metallic note. APPEARANCE: light yellow color and translucent. medium-low to low white head with medium-low retention. TASTE: similar to the aroma with initial medium-high hop notes (peach, melon, pine), followed by medium-low and almost neutral (slightly grainy) malt background with slight sweetness. medium-high to high bitterness with and almost dry and bitter finish that persists. MOUTHFEEL: medium-low body with medium-low carbonation. OVERALL: a nice american ipa although a tad less dry for a west coast ipa.

Clear golden colour, medium sized creamy snow-white head; aroma of tangerine, peach, some orange peel and maybe hints of pine notes; taste has the same notes with much more intensive pine resiny hoppiness and some buttery notes; a little bit 'empty' and 'watery' to be a great west coast IPA, but otherwise, as a beer it is quite ok(ish 😉)

Tap at the Fuga Cidade Funchal Madeira. A mostly clear golden orange coloured pour with a lasting dense off white head. Aroma is earthy bread, caramel, tangy orange, dusty citrus. Grassy hop. Flavour is composed of semi sweet, dry grains, hint of toffee, orange and pine, midget gems, jammy citrus. Dusty. Palate is semi sweet, moderate carbonation. Little grainy. Ok.
