Can from Drankenhandel Leiden. Lots of coffee with rich espresso, dark roast, vanilla, some boozy notes and red wine, intense dark chocolate, soy sauce,chocolate syrup. Sweet and heavy, thick body. Big roasty bitterness as well. Decadent and lovely.

Can split at L6 tasting, thanks to Fergus, 02/03/23. Black with a tan cap that dissipates to a swirl. Nose is chocolate, roast malts, spice, vanilla bean. Taste comprises chocolate, brown sugars, vanilla, toffee, dried fruits, mellow roast. Medium plus bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Okay sipper if lacking some depth for 12%.

Can from rad while on holiday. Jet black with a dark brown head. Aroma and taste are big roasted bitter coffee and chocolate. Finish has some vanilla and chocolate sweetness. Rich full body.

330ml can. Pours black with a tan head. Aroma of coffee, chocolate, vanilla. Taste dominated by coffee which is very roasty, bitter, and mildly fruity, plenty of chocolate, vanilla, booze, syrupy sweetness countered by the strong lingering bitterness. Decent tiramisu stout.

Can shared in London - cheers to Fergus. Pours black-brown with a small, foamy tan head. Medium sweet flavour, burnt peanuts, ashy roast, earth, baking cocoa. Medium bodied with fine carbonation. Semi-sweet finish, more torched nuts, bitter dark chocolate. Not bad.

Can shared at the Columbus tasting. 2023-03-02. An oily dark brown coloured pour with a reluctant head. Aroma is medium sweet, big peanut butter, chocoalte, hazelnut cream, some alcohol. Flavour is composed of medium sweet, peanut, woody nutty, walnut, oily, Warming alcohol. bitter chocolate finish. Quality street. Palate is medium sweet, oily, mellow carbonation. Quite interesting.

Can shared at a tasting at Schnitt brewpub in Tel Aviv. Black, tan foam. Lots of nuts and coffee, some chocolate, sweet, faint vinous touch, tonka and cinnamon notes, bitter finish.
