Keg @ Cafe Beermoth, Manchester. Smooth brown coloured with a nice sweetened dark maltiness. It also hides its strength well.

Can ordered from... hmm... Brew Cavern? Aroma has coffee and caramel with herbs and a hint of sweet fruit. Opaque if murky dark brown. Foamy off-white head. Medium bitter. Resin. Sweet burnt caramel follows. Spice and herbs. And throughout there's a boozy steak. Medium bodied. Slick to oily. Average carbonation. Long somewhat astringent finish. Enjoyable warming stuff - it's nippy.
