2 week old can A: Unattractive murky washed out pale yellow with a short but lasting white head. S: Grapefruit or lemon pith and zest, floral notes and wafer cookie. T: Pungent herbs undercut floral and citrus hops, then lightly sweet woody and sugary malts lead back into a green herb aftertaste. M: Prickly carbonation without hop burn. Light feel and clean finish. O: OK but not impressive. A near miss.

Perfecte kleur, maar aan smaak valt nog wel winst te behalen.

Juicy, yes, but also with an underlying bubblegum sweetness that seems strong for the ABV, and a dry, floral finish not quite meshing with the front end. What I expected from an Abita hazy IPA.
