Can at home, from Craft Central.ie, 31/12/2025 - wee hours.
Pitch black with a fast escaping khaki head.
Nose is dark malts, molasses, honeycomb, brown sugar melt, hint of coffee, modest barrel.
Taste comprises roast malts, coffee bean, toasted brown sugar, chocolate, mellow whisky barrel, dark fruit rinds.
Medium bodied with bite, light prickly carbonation, semi drying close with a lick of alcohol.
Okay sipper but lacks depth of flavour for the ABV.

Can at home shared with Laura. Opaque black color, small off-white head. Aroma is malts, dark malts, whiskeylightly peaty notes but in this case so light it adds another great layer of complexity to the beer. Flavor is similar, with more whiskey. Lightly boozy. Delicious. Really nice this one.
