Marked batch 005 on the bottle label. Matured in a Glen Moray 1992 cask although this is not detailed on the label.
This edition sees our Imperial Stout aged for several months in specially selected Speyside malt whisky casks. This maturation process results in the whisky flavours and aromas being infused deep into our beer.

Cask conditioned at Blackfriars, Glasgow, as "Brewdog Paradox Glen Moray Edition #3". Weighs in at 10% ABV - not quite your average pint at the pub! Black colour, ruby in the highlights. Very nice vinous aroma with strong oaky notes. Very oaky flavour, roasty and relatively sweet. Salty finish.

Cask at Blackfriars, Glasgow - had several pints of this over two days at RBESG 2007. Aged in Glen Moray casks. A pitch black beer with a brown head. The aroma is sweet amlty with strong notes of roasted malt and whiskey. The flavor is sweet with strong notes of alcohol, whiskey, and roasted malt, as well as hints of smoke. I found it a bit sharp on the alcohol the first night, and much more mellow on the second - which made it very drinkable.

Cask at Blackfriars during RBESG 07. Huge thanks to Tom for getting this on. I had a single shot of Glen Moray (the whisky casks used for this one) at the Bon Accord and you could definitely see the hints of that coming through. Black, ruby edges, thin beige head. Lovely whisky Speyside aroma. Very vanilla and tangerine. Good vanilla pod flavour. Oily, some coffee/milk chocolate. Nice, alcohol is a little burning. I was still drinking this at 01.00 in the morning on way back to hotel. Oh my head.
