Can.pitch black colour with medium beige head.Aroma is sweet of cinnamon and vanilla nice mild smooth and perhaps a bit to sweet to me anyway ok overall.

Tap at Venner, Copenhagen (Peders Pop UP) 09/05/2024 Verging sweet for me, notes of chocolate and fudge, caramel, some dark fruit, vanilla, coffee, slight almost acidic edge, warming malty finish. Not doing much for me.

200ml draught at Tromsø Mikrobryggeri. Fawn-coloured head over a black-brownish body, spotty lacing. Rather sweet smell of vanilla chocolate. Has also got a sweet taste of chocolate and syrup added by spices. Backdrop of coffee-chocolate to the ending. Mouthfilling. Pasty impression, indeed. Okay sipper, a tad too sweet though. Draft, taster. @Peders, Copenhagen (Denmark). 04/05/2023 [#6.161 Global - #968 United States of America - #8 Humble Forager Brewing] Pours pitch black with almost no head. Aroma: cocoa malts, cinnamon and liquorice. Taste: wood barrels, maple syrup. Oily mouthfeel. Sweet thick treat.

A black beer, no head. Aroma of sweet dark malt, strong coffee and some bourbon. Taste of sweet chocolate malt, strong dark malt, bourbon.

Can shared by Doug & Cari at the February 2023 PS tasting, 2/11/23. Black, thin head. Aroma of maple, roast, raisin, vanilla. Taste is roast, coffee, maple, cherry, vanilla. Very sweet.

16oz can from Tavour. Near black pour, thin beige head fades leaving tiny ring. Sweet aroma, chocolate, light cinnamon, some vanilla. Taste arrives on a creamy, silky thick body, all of the adjuncts play their part, chocolate in the leading role. Some latent spicy cinnamon notes, faint maple. ABV a no show.
