Draught. @ Cafe Albert. Pours black no head. Aroma of roasted malt, caramel, little chocolate, cinnamon, pecan, vanilla. Flavor and rather spicy, roast malt, caramel, chocolate, maple sirup, vanilla, cinnamon, pecan, alcohol. Full body, oily mouthfeel, soft carbonation, sweet spicy finish with warming alcohol. 200523

Aroma: dough, chocolate brownie and brown sugars. Taste: caramel malts, dough, pecan nuts and cinnamon. Sticky maple syrup on the palate. Next one please!

A murky dark brown beer, small tan lacing. Aroma of sweet brownies, caramel, chocolate. Taste of strong dark roasted malt, mint, chocolate, brownies, very thick mouthfeel, boozy.

On tap at Peders, pours an opaque diarrhea brown, no head. Aroma brings out toasted pecans, some vegetal notes, and raw cocoa husks. Flavour is very fucked up, with gritty toasted pecans, earthiness, celery-like vegetal notes. Ugh, this has gotten messed up.

200ml shared with Matt, Ryan, Brian, Phill and the most powerful worldwide ticker. Looks like a chocolate smoothie. Sweet, chocolate, some fruits. Weird aftertaste. Meh.

Can 473ml @ home Pours black with a tan head. Aroma has notes of roasted malt, chocolate, soya sauce, coffee, licorice, nuts, brown sugar, cinnamon and vanilla. Taste is medium to heavy sweet and light to medium bitter with a long warm, roasted, soya, cinnamon, vanilla, chocolate and brown sugar finish. Body is full, texture is oily, carbonation is soft to flat.

US Pint can on 6th January 2022 at my daughters place in Laguna Hills, California. Poured into a lovely Kasteel glass (twice). It's an oil slick black, no head on either pour, just a tanned collar. Caramel front to the nose and sweet taste, nutty, chocolatey and rich vanilla flavours combine nicely, as did the sugared Donut I had with it!
