This is our take on a true-to-style German schwarzbier. It is lighter in body than many other dark beer styles (like stouts) but very dark in colour—easy drinking and low ABV without a lot of roasted malt flavour.

44 cl can from To øl beer club poured into a Dimpled mug. Pitch black with a dense tanned head. Sweet aroma with caramel malts, chocolate, toasted bread, hoppy notes. The taste is sweet. Medium body. Drying roasted finish with a good sweetness. Lovely Schwartzbier.

440ml can. Pours a very dark brown - almost black, with a big beige head. Aroma of roast malts, chocolate, caramel. Taste is the same, roasted malts with some sweet caramel, chocolate, bitter finish. Well balanced.
