Rust is a colossal double-barrel-aged wheatwine. It rested for ten months in a rye whiskey barrel (a store pick from our friends at Bob's Lake City Liquors). We then racked it into a Buffalo Trace barrel for an additional fourteen months.

Poured from the tap @ MBCC 2023 (finally adding my notes). Very dark brown with small beige head. Nice wheat wine quality with rye and bourbon, great balance.

Mikkeller Beer Celebration Copenhagen 2023 (MBCC Day 1) - Dark sweet malty with lots of dried fruit, dark malts, full body, big whisky hit into the close.

Draught, taster @MBCC 2023, Copenhagen (Denmark). 05/05/2023. [#6.241 Global - #1.012 United States of America - #8 Lua Brewing] Pours viscous black with no head. Aroma: whiskey barrels, booze and cinnamon. Taste: rich bourbon barrels and wheat wine. Good barrel aged action. Booze everywhere. Warming finish. Just a sip. Next one please!

Draught @ Mikkeller Beer Celebration Copenhagen 2023 (MBCC). Heavy, intense and sweetish with loads of wheaty bourbon barrel, syrup and prunes. Intense.

Taster during MBCC 2023 Friday morning session shared with Ryan, Matt, Phill, Brian, and Erik. Nice barrel, dark fruits, caramel, heavy and sweet, boozy. Good one.
