Im Zwei-Maisch-Verfahren eingebraut. Unser Alt-Pahreser-Dunkel. Ein echtes Dunkles! Aus echtem dunklen Münchner Malz gebraut! 1972 von Friedrich Hofmann wieder entdeckt. Eingebraut im traditionellen Zwei-Maisch-Verfahren. Die Maische wird zweimal intensiv gekocht. Ein malzaromatisches Bier mit vielen Mineral- und Gerbstoffen. Die intensive Kochung bildet schöne dunkle, nach Brot und Malz duftende Aromakomponenten mit einer feinen Karamellnote und einer Spur von Rauch. “Iß Brot und trinke Bier, wie es Brauch ist im Lande!“ Erfreuen Sie sich am feurig-dunklen Glanz dieses Bieres.

Ins Glas ergießt sich ein dunkelbraunes Bier mit schöner Schaumkrone. Geruch röstmalzig, Karamell, leicht würzig. Geschmack angenehm röstmalzig, leichte schokoladige Noten, leicht würzig.

Bottle. Clear chestnut amber witha shortlived head. Aroma of malt and caramel Flavour is litght bitter chocolate with a nutty base. Finish is dry chocolate.

Aroma is typically bready, brown ale malts, roasty malts. Taste is again very bready, just a big malty beast really.

Bottled 500ml. -from Sörspecialista.hu, Budapest as Hofmann Dunkel.
Dark amber coloured, minimal off-white head, malty and slight sugary nose. Mild roasted malt, caramel and hint of smoke with notes of brown sugar. Pretty standard dunkel.

Bottle, courtesy of fonefan. A clear, dark golden beer with a nice off-white head. Caramel and some bread in the aroma, rather pleasant. Sweet, bready flavor with caramel and a balancing bitterness. Medium to full body, sweet and bitter finish. A quite tasteful one. 100814

Warning! Early amateur rating! Crisp palate. Pleasant caramelly chocolatey undertone. Not bitter at all. Long finish. Nice!

Bottle @ Danish Summer Gathering, 2010. Pours amber with a creamy white head and lacings. Nose is malty. Chewy caramel and bread. Medium and smooth palate. Good.

Aroma is moderate malty, roasted, caramel, light bread. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a average to long duration, bread, caramel. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. clear golden smooth yellow head. dark caramelly, sweet malty, alc. flavor is sweet, caramelly, malty, dark caramelly, ends a little bitterhoppy but mostly malty and caramelly sweet.
