Bottle. It's a lightly hazy golden colored beer with an orange hue. A medium sized off-white head sits on top. Some curtains. The aroma is citrusy, piney and lightly flowery, with some hay and pale malts. Earthy, leafy notes in the back. It's medium to full bodied and pleasantly carbonated, mostly on the dry side of the spectrum, and also quite bitter. Piney, resiny and lightly grassy flavor with some notes of dry forest, bread and hay. Quite long finish, mostly hop driven, but there's some pleasant malty sweetness in the back. Somehow this one feels a bit unbalanced. Sure nice, but the bitterness takes a bit too much room I think. Sure won't refuse to drink again though. Looking forward to trying the store strength version too. 230128

Bottle. Slightly unclear golden body under a fine, big white head. Fresh pilsner style aroma, malt, bread, floral and hint of fresh grass. Taste has really soft, fine malt, some bread, slightly fruity, floral, grass and balanced bitterness. Balanced body and smooth in aftertaste. A really, really nice version of a lager/pilsner with an amazing soft malt flavor and very fine taste without too much of anything.
