For this Golden Blend, we blended lambikken originating from four different barrels, six different brews and three different brewers. Almost half of the volume is a two-year-old lambik and almost one third is five-year-old lambik. As such, the weighted average age of the blend upon bottling is almost 35 months. Of the 3 Fonteinen brewed lambikken, half of the cereals were sourced with our own Pajottenland cereal circle. Upon bottling, we added a bit of our own honey.

Slightly golden with a white head. Lovely. Some barnyard, leather, oak, floral, dried fruit, and a nice tartness throughout. Finish is approachable tart and dry. Complexity and balance. This is beautiful.
