Slightly golden with a white head. Lovely. Some barnyard, leather, oak, floral, dried fruit, and a nice tartness throughout. Finish is approachable tart and dry. Complexity and balance. This is beautiful.

2021 bottle. Deep golden-amber color with white head. Aroma is red apples, barn, candied apple, dash of honey. Taste is bready, apple peel, quite some body left. Oily mouthfeel, foamy carbonation. Very tasty!

18 Sep 22 Bottle, 750 ml at charity tasting Wien 2022. Shared with Miro B, Werckmeister and others. Season 16 - 17 Blend No. 51. Layers of complexity. Barnyard, cellar, some fruity notes, barrel, funk. 9/5/9/4/18
Smooth, sweetish with hints of honey, funky farmyardy yeastiness, very mild sourness and tartness. Quite complex and balanced

750mL bottle, pours a pretty hazy dark amber orange with a medium white head. Aroma is loaded with complex barnyard funk, some earthiness, leather, and a touch of fermented out honey. Flavour is wonderfully complex, with loads of tart citrus, complex barnyard funk, some earthiness, and a slight hint of fermented out honey. There's plenty of petroleum in there with the funk, with a nice tart citrusy finish. It's got maybe a tad much too much astringency, but not detracting at all. Lovely stuff, though not quite as great as regular GB.

Bottled 10/03/2021. Nice pop. Light amber, plenty of white head. Feels a bit young, little bit of sharp acidity, pretty mineral. Lots of oak, but not really getting the honey. More on the funky side, not getting much fruit/apple. Tasty.

Bottle, LKBW. Unclear golden, small off-white head. Moderately funky, malty or maybe honey, spicy. Funky and cheesy flavour. Soft texture, soft carbonation, light finish.

Bottle, online from the source. Vintage 2016-17. blend 51. Pours clear amber gold with a foamy white top. Aroma: brett funk, leather, honey. Taste: clean, dry, tart, bittersweet, lemon, gueze-y green apple vibes, gentle honey sweetness. Medium body with massaging carbonation.

Bottle as a celebration. Bit uazy orange golden, small white head. Quite fruity and very funky. Just medium soft sparkly carbonation. Still nice! --- Beer merged from original tick of Oude Geuze Golden Blend (Season 16|17) Blend No. 51 on 25 May 2022 at 17:04 - Score: Appearance - 8 | Aroma - 9 | Flavor - 8.5 | Texture - 8 | Overall - 9. Original review text: Bottle. Clear dark golden. Really get the old lambic in here, lots of wood and dry funk. Soft citrus, fresh oak, tangerine peel. Solid medium sour, light bitter, even lighter sweet. Nice, but not amazing. Maybe past it’s prime?
