In der Nase sind intensiv würzige Malz- und Hopfenaromen, bevor ein dezenter Duft nach Wald in Verbindung mit leicht nussigen Noten das Bukett abrundet. Dezent moussierend entfaltet sich der malzsüße Antrunk zu einem kräftigen Malzkörper, der in einer Kombination aus milden Nussnoten und feiner Hopfenherbe ausklingt. Ein absolut harmonisches Zusammenspiel aus Hopfenbittere und Malzsüße macht diese Bierspezialität so einzigartig.
Kenner halten die Flasche übrigens vor dem Einschenken mit dem Kronkorken nach unten, damit sich Hefe und Trubstoffe in das Bier mischen können und so für einen wirklich außergewöhnlichen Biergenuss sorgen. Probieren Sie es aus!

Bottle poured. Pours a cloudy brown color with very little head. Grassy, hoppy aroma. Flavor is very grainy, but a good grainy. Nice malty flavor with a more grassy finish. To my suprise this drinks nicely, and the flavor is overall good. Enjoyable beer.

Bottle as W W K Zwickelbier at 5.1% from Malt & Vine. Pours very hazy light amber with a slight white head. Aroma is slightly sweet, slightly earthy, Toss in some fruit ester with that , and there is a pretty tasty beer. Nice. Like the style.

Purchased a 16.9 oz.bottle, from Carls Meat Market, Kittery, ME for $3.29. Copper gold color, almost no head in a Pilsner glass. Aroma has light caramel with grass and light wet hay notes.
Light body with a effervescent, mouthfeel. Nice carbonation level.The flavor is pretty simple and just like the nose. The grass is over run with light sweet malts in the finish.
Overall I enjoy trying this style whenever I can; since it’s not common in the states. Light and refreshing hay and sweet malts. I was excited to see Carls carry this and the dunkel. And they are on the fresh side!!

Geruch muffig-malzig. Das Aroma dieses Bieres ist neutral-süffig-leicht süßlich. Irgendwie vollmundig-"normal". Ein "0815"- Bier - Irgendwie charakterlos. Ist aber doch schön süffig - nicht gut und auch nicht wirklich schlecht...

Bottle, thx MiP. A hazy, orange beer with an off-white head. Fruity and quite grainy nose with a touch of sourness. Starting to wonder if it’s off. Some unpleasant phenolic notes strenghtens my impression. Rather unpleasant flavor with some sourness and a little phenolic touch, grains and a fruityness.Some bitterness. Finishes in the same way. Medium, sourish mouthfeel. Really disappointing. (080625)

Bottle. Re-rate a lot more harmonic than last time, nice balance between fruity notes, minerals and grassy, aromatic hops. Chewy, dry finish, pleasant Old rating: 5 3 6 2 11 Metallic hop and light honeyish malt aroma. Amber, big bubbles, creamy off+white head. Light fruity zwickl notes, completely smothered by metallic grassy bittering hops. Relatively light body. Yeasty and grassy aftertaste.

Bottle (German Beer of the Month Club). Malt and strong grass hops aroma. Hazy orange brown color with small head. Light malt and strong grass hops flavor. The hoppiest Zwickel I’ve ever had - very nice.
