Traditional ESB (Extra Special Bitters) pale ales pay homage to the picturesque English pub experience. Nice but…BOO-RING! Dit ain’t dat! In times of angry autocrats and mass hysteria, we decided to create an anarchic ESB with hawkish spikes and multiple piercings. A pale ale infused with Iggy and fermented to White Riot, ‘tis a vengeful tirade against demagogues and filthy liars. The days are short and the nights are long. Don’t be boring.

Can. Apricot brown amber. Grapefruit stone rind. Oily sticky. First I thought it was flat, but it actually got a really long boozy warm aftertaste, sticky sweet.

Can. Cloudy orange, low offwhite head. Citric, grassy and earthy herbal nose. Light off flavors, medium light sugary body, orange peel and apple notes, a bit clay.

Glas geprobeerd bij Brew @ the Zoo. Het is een amberkleur achtig bier met matig schuim. Het aroma is moutig en vreemd. De smaak is moutig en bitter. Nasmaak is ook bitter.
