Kolor pomarańczowy, początkowo klarowny, dopiero przelanie całej zawartości do szklanki, ładnie opalizuje. Piana biała, niska, nietrwała, delikatnie zdobi szkło.
Aromat słodowy, może nawet słodki, delikatnie "dziki", piwniczny, z lekkimi nutami owocowymi i zbożowymi w tle. Intensywność średnio wysoka.
Smak kwaśny, cierpki, "surowy", ostry, z delikatną goryczką o charakterze mokrego drzewna. Jest przyjemnie orzeźwiający i świeży.
Wysycenie średnie. Ciało podobnie, średnie. Tekstura nieco szorstka. Posmak długi, kwaśny, z goryczkowm tłem.

750mL bottle at the International Geuze & Kriek festival. Pours hazy blonde with a small head. Old wood ok the nose Flavour has dry old wood, a bitnof mildewy upholstery. Not quite flat. Very nice.

750mL bottle at International Geuze & Kriek Festival 2025, pours a copper golden with a small white head. Aroma has moderate barnyard funk, leathery notes, and a touch of phenols. Flavour has lots of leather, gentle tartness, and earthy funk. Really good funk for an unblended. Excellent.

A: clear orange, thin, white head.
A: straw, hay, old bread, overripe apricot & peach.
T: sour apricot & green apple, funky straw, sourdough.
F: bitter stone fruit, wood, leather funky sour citrus.
P: medium body, slick texture, flat carbonation.
Refreshingly dry, if there is such a thing.

Flaska från SB. En trevlig citrusdriven lambic med beska grapeskal, à la de Troch. Känns grön och ung, inte jättekomplex eller superfunlig men trevlig med snäll syra. Gott

Bottle at home. Clear dark golden, no head. Yoghurt, oak, peach, funk, dry grains, caramel, light earthy, bread crust. Medium sweet, sour and light bitter. Oily body, flat. Not bad but not an amazing beer either.

Cloudy deep gold to pale amber with a small head. Funk, pale malt, vinegar, lemon, leather, autumn leaves, spicy hop. Pretty dry. Complex. Good.

(Draught at Billie's Bier Kafétaria, Antwerpen, 17 Oct 2024) Golden amber colour with brief, bubbly head. Fruity nose with notes of grapefruit, green grapes, oak wood and barnyard. Fruity, tart taste with grapefruit, sour grapes, barnyard, funk and oak wood. Low bitterness. Medium body, dry. Fresh and tasty, with a refreshing acidity. Very nice.
