1877 marks the beginning of Billy's career as an outlaw. A 17 year old Billy was bullied by the 31 year old, much bigger than him, Frank Cahill, who happened to be a smith. One day Billy had enough of Frank's torment and talked back, which the big smith didn't like one bit. He jumped Billy and pinned him to the floor, but the kid managed to grab a hold of his gun and shoot Frank. Initially wounded, the smith died the next day, becoming Billy's first victim.

Bottle, 0.5l. Deep copper/amber pour, one finger frothy off-white head, medium retention. Broken lacing on the glass. Nice on the nose, herbal and grassy notes, citrus peel, hints of pine. Medium body, soft to medium carbonation, lively. Smooth mouthfeel and texture, mild fizzy, chewy, silky smooth. Goes down nicely. Balanced bittersweet taste. Hoppy aroma, citrus peel, grassy hops, herbs. Tea leaves, ripe fruits, candy. Mild lingering coconut, caramel in the background. Medium lasting finish, slightly dry, lingering herbal bitterness. Good one.

0.5 l bottle from Goblet Beer Store Zagreb, shared with the Jolly Rogers at the rehearsal. Hazy golden to orange, small head. Aroma is lightly hoppy, fruity at first, quite intense buttery immediately after. Malty underneath. Creamy texture, slick. Light body, minimal bitterness. Butter and malt aroma, some hops. Light finish. Rerate on tap at Valhalla. No buttery notes. Fruity, herbal and earthy, slightly perfumy. Malty, creamy. Minimal bitterness, low carbonation. Some sweetness, some caramel.

Bottled 500ml. -at Goblet Zagreb, shared with Marko. Darker golden/amberish coloured, medium sized off-white head, light malty fruity nose. Sweetish malty, fruity, light biscuity and grassy with short bitterish finish.

Bottle with Ogivlado, at Goblet ZG. Hazy golden-amber body, off-white head. Fresh tangerine-peach aroma, quite hoppy, lightly malty, vague coconut. Lean dry grainy body, citrus and coconut, lightly hoppy, grainy, tangerine. I like the hop profile, not sure about the body, creamy but empty near the finish, before a light, liiiiight bitterness. Sligthly lacking in most departments.
