Keg at the brewery taproom. Pours black-brown with a tight, creamy beige head. Light-medium sweet flavour with sturdy, ashy roast, some burnt cinnamon, modest earthy bitterness, a little black coffee and baking cocoa. Light bodied with fine carbonation. Lightly drying finish, further bittersweet ashy roast, scorched earth. Not bad.

Pours dark brown to black. Small white head. Scent is pure roasted malts, coffee, fairly full. Taste is full, bitter, intense for the ABV. Dry, crispy roasty malts. Very pure and balanced.

Tap at the tap. Aroma has a decent slug of coffee with chocolatey malts. Cola brown. Clear in the light. Thin creamy translucent light beige head. Tangy berry sourness and cold brew coffee bitterness. Medium bodied l. Creamy-slick. Flat carbonation - a playful tickle on the tongue suggests some carbonation. Long dry somewhat astringent finish. Definitely sessionable, light coffee influenced Porter.
