En hyggelig kveld på 3 Locks, sammen med Steve og Callum: brunsvart med fint skum som varer. Kaffe, bitter sjokolade (type 80%) og hint av solbær. Tørr avslutning i fin, klassisk porter-stil.

1/3 pint, draught at 3 Locks Taproom, shared with Finn. Clingy lacing, fawn-coloured head, near black in the glass. Inviting aromas of roasted earthy malts, mid-sweet. Fine blended taste of earth, black chocolate and coffee moments. Roasted bitter tail. Good drinking, a bit short though. (Camden, London 16.03.2024).

On tap at 3 Locks, pours black with a small tan head. Aroma is dry, with black liquorice, dry roast, and some earthy notes. Flavour is very dry — almost bone dry — with black liquorice, dry earthiness, and toasted malt. A bit too try actually, in that it seems to dilute the flavour by washing it out. It's alright.
