0.44 l can thanks to Marko who kept it for us, shared with him. Dark brown, small beige head. Roasty aroma, vanilla, hints of cocoa or Tonka beans. Nice chocolate flavour, not too sweet, slightly cloying, soft, strong, medium body, chewy, caramel. Finishes a bit sweet after all.

Can shared with Hrabren. Very dark brown body, almost pitch black, off-white head. Vanilla in the aroma, some alcohol. Lean taste, soft, vanilla dominating - surprisingly enough, not much tonka, not much cocoa or coffee. Bitter finish, strong. Okay, this has traveled quite a bit, but I expected way, way more. Also, alcohol is well hidden, so at least something. Maybe it just didn't age well.

On tap at Brew Festival. An oily dark brown beer with a minimal sized tan head. The aroma has tonka, almond, a vague note of DMS and some lightly burnt malts. Caramel, alcohol and roasted malts are the dominant aromas though. It's full-bodied, warming and sweet on the palate, soft and not too sticky. There's a light bitterness too, with some herbal flavor notes and a wee touch of cough syrup. Tonka, almond and nuttyness, caramel, alcohol and roasted malts, and a lasting sweet, malty flavor. A bit too herbal in the flavor this one, else sure nice. 220429

Superficial festival rating at Brew Festival, Oslo 2022. Friday session. Pitch black body under a small beige head. Aroma has dark malt, coffee, tonka beans and vanilla. Taste is sweet dark malt and lactose, coffee, some tonka and vanilla, moderate bitterness. A bit too sweet and lactose flavor for my likings, but not bad.

Can, 0.44l. Pitch black pour, one finger creamy brown head, medium retention. Sticky lacing on the glass. Very nice on the nose, huge coffee and tonka beans notes, cacao and chocolate in the background. Full body, soft carbonation. Smooth mouthfeel and texture, oily, thick, creamy, chewy. Just the way I like it, a mouthful of stout. Sweet malty taste with mild roasty bitterness for the balance. Aroma of coffee, cacao, tonka beans. Chocolate, vanilla, roasted malt. Molasses, brown sugar. Wood notes. Sticky. Subtle alcohol burn. Medium to long lasting finish, dry, sweet, slightly liquory. Excellent.
