Beim Aufmachen der Flasche kommt mir gleich das Bier entgegen und versaut mir den Tisch. Das gibt gleich mal Sympathiepunkte.
Entsprechend überwältigend ist auch die Schaumentwicklung beim Einschenken. Hält aber nicht lange. Das Bier ist kupferfarben, der Schaum dafür erstaunlich hell. Aromatischer Geruch - Malz, Holz, Frucht und Likör. Geschmacklich ist das Bier dunkelmalzig (ohne allzu große Röstnoten) mit Nuancen von getrockneten Früchten, Holz, Blumen, Pumpernickel und Waldhonig. Insbesondere, wenn das Bier etwas an Temperatur gewinnt kommt das gut raus. Erinnert mich an das eine oder andere belgische Klosterbier (auch wenn die vom Alkoholgehalt in einer ganz anderen Liga spielen). Das Bier pumpt innerhalb der ersten 3 Minuten nach seiner Öffnung seine ganze Kohlensäure in die Atmosphäre. Entsprechend ist es dann superweich und kaum noch spritzig - ich mag das.
OK, das Gushing hat mich extrem abgenervt - aber, das ist doch ein sehr interessantes und schmackhaftes dunkles Bier mit einer tollen Aromatik (und das bei gerade mal 4,9 % Alk).

Bottle picked up from Äpfel Getrankemarkt Moosburg (I think 🤔). Consumed Wednesday 24th December 2025, Christmas Eve. We're cooking Nidi di Tagliatelle al forno (baked pasta nests) listening to c/Nightbus - Passenger. Pours clear light brown, excellent clarity. It was a bit eager to leave the bottle but the head didn't last long long. Not too much on the aroma, there's a gentle light malt but not much else. Taste is simple but really boring, mouthfeel good, light molasses, but very little else to talk about, boring. Score 6.0

330ml bottle. Clear, dark amber colour with small to average, frothy to creamy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, sulphureous head. Sweet-ish, caramel malty and minimally fruity, hoppy aroma, hints of malt lozenge, a bready touch, toffee, overtones of red berries. Taste is rather watery, minimally metallic, fruity hoppy and caramel malty, diluted hints of malt lozenge, a touch of read berries, leafy overtones.

Bottle. Dunkel? Nor really, dark amber, I’d say. Chocolate and caramel in the malt aroma and flavor. Nutty, hints of roast and pear. Quite pleasant beer.

33cl bottle. Pours dark amber with a small beige head. Aroma of caramel and dark malt. Taste of caramel malt, some roasted malt, bread.

Bottle looks simple but okay. Beer in the glass not as dark as exspected, nice head. Starts mild, malty, modest spicy, some sweetish notes. Fruity hints of peaches. Finish well balanced, still mild. Okay.

Smooth malty beer. Soft malt with a nice soft smooth and slightly sweetish. Nice dry, fresh, malty with a nice dry-smooth and easy to drink aftertaste.

Poured amber color with a frothy white head. Caramel malt aroma, flavor is caramel.
