This 5.2% session IPA is bursting at the seams with big hops from the US, Australia and New Zealand, a Starburst of juicy flavours; a gem of a sessionable ale; our second Patrons Project release with Risotto Studio.

The star of the show is NZ Nelson Sauvin with sumptuous white grape flavours and melon character. This is then backed up by notes of passion fruit, blueberry, coconut and maybe even some strawberry from the support cast of Vic Secret, Enigma and HBC586 hops.

To manage such a strong entourage of hops, we called in our mates from Birmingham, Attic Brew Co.

Attic Brew Co are all about packing as much flavour and body into sessionable ales as they can - the ideal partners to tackle this hop-packed Starburst.

440ml can. Poured a hazy yellow golden colour with a short-lived, frothy white head. The aroma is grainy malt, light tropical citrus. The flavour is moderate to light bitter and sweet, with a light, somewhat crisp, juicy pineapple, mineral, light floral hop bitter palate. Medium bodied with average carbonation.

Keg @ Northern Monk Refectory, Manchester. Cloudy golden with a thin head. Good citrus nose, but its dry taste provides for quite a bland taste, leaving its carbonation as the dominant characteristic for its aftertaste.
