Brown colour and tiny beige head. Chocolate, bourbon, alcohol, vanilla in the nose. Medium-bodied to full-bodied. Sweet, bourbon, toffee, alcohol and some vanilla in the flavour. Sticky.

Coppery lack colour, small off-white head. Aroma is chocolate, some alcohol, vanilla sweet bourbon and toffee. Flavour is fruity, floral and wooden with dried fruity toffee and alcohol. Nicely balanced.

330 ml bottle. Pours a bright reddish brown with short foamy head. Aromas of caramel, sweet bourbon, nougat graham cracker, raisins, and doughy malts. Flavors follow same with some vanilla if I think about it. Quite malty but lots of smooth caramel and bourbon to compliment. Great barrel effects. Excellent.

Sampled @ Billie's Craft Beer Fest 2024, Friday. A clear amber beer, no head. Aroma and Taste of some vanilla, bourbon, dried fruits, peach, boozy finish.

Pours dark brown, nearly black. Scent is sweet. Taste is sharp, some vanilla. Very boozy and hollow. Dried fruits. Not my thing. Faded spirit-like aroma.

Draught Small rim over deep dark red-purple to black beer. Very syrupy, quite some tobacco/cigar leaf, some vanilla. Sweet, dry, bitterish. Bitter herbs as for a German liqueur. More vanilla. Very 'hot', very well bodied, and very carbonated. This is one for the notebooks, especially as I'm usually not very partial to sweet beers.
