TCBW2024. Deep copper colour, close to black, with a small off-white foamy head. Aroma is plum, some sweet malts, mild toasted tones with some vanilla and mild bourbon tones to it. Flavour is plum, ripe fruits, some sweet malts, toasted tones with mild bourbon, alcohol and some toffeeish tones along with a bit of wooden tones. Alcohol is actually not that disturbing.

Can 330ml @ Cunningham. Pours dark reddish brown almost black with a beige to tan head. Aroma has notes of roasted malt, caramel, dried fruits, oak, wood and cocoa. Taste is medium to heavy sweet and medium bitter with a long warm, caramel, toffee, dried fruits, oak and cocoa finish. Body is full, texture is oily, carbonation is soft.

Solid and powerful evening sipper or a dessert. Glad the bourbon stuff did not destroy this one. Dark brownish in the glass and a small tan head Fine intensity in the aroma. Softly carbonated and a decent sweetness for a beer like this Toffee, fruity, oak, chocolate and some vanilla in the flavor. [Bottle – shared by Yngwie and Meilby]

Can. A really dark brown beer, hazy, with a tab head of moderate size. Pleasant booziness in the aroma, with roasted malts, some coffee and vanilla and brown sugar. Oak hints. It's full bodied and sweet on the palate, softly carbonated and warming. Toffee, brown sugar, dark chocolate and some booze. Vanilla, oak and some tannins. Lasting finish. Delicious. 240726

Can 27/04/2024 Malmö April 2024 tasting - toasted and sweet malty with notes of caramel and toffee, dried fruit shred, brown sugar sprinkle, full bodied, great oak whisky kissed accents into the lingering spiced malty finish. Very nice.

Pours a dark brown colour and no head. Aroma's of bourbon, umami, toffee, sweetish, light red fruit, wood. Flavour is above moderate sweet, light umami. Above medium bodied. Low carbonation. Very nice.
