Geroosterd, fruitig en stevig bitter. Lekker herfstig maar met heimwee naar de zomer.

Bottle at Beer Capital Brussels. Pours clear red-brown with a tight, Trang light khaki head. Light-medium sweet flavour with notes of well toasted malts, earthy hops, dried orange peel, slight tangy dark berries. Medium bodied with fine, massaging carbonation. Alright balance to finish, bit of boozy warmth, toasted malts, light roast, earth, burnt pine. Basic gear.

2/I/23 - 33cl bottle from Geers (Oostakker), shared @ home, BB: n/a (2023-6)
Clear brown beer, big fizzy aery beige big bubbled irregular head, relatively stable, adhesive, leaving a nice lacing in the glass. Aroma: malty, caramel, fudge, hint of milk chocolate, nutty, hazelnuts, hay, more malts. Nothing fruity about it. Where’s my aromatic hops? MF: soft carbon, medium body. Taste: slightly sweet, malty, chocolate roast, hint of caramel, pretty bitter and dry. Aftertaste: very bitter, more roast, slightly metallic, a bit sourish, hoppy, grassy finish.
