Brewed in spring 2021, part of our quadruple went to a sherry barrel, and was left to mature there for ~9 months. It took another ~9 months in the bottles before we decide to present it to the public. It combines the sweet, rich and powerful character, filled with dried fruits flavors and aromas of a quadruple with the barrel contributions. In this case we had a barrel that was heavily charred, so expect smoke! The Sherry wine is recognizable here as well, so prepare yourself when going for this one. It's a dangerous 14.5% abv of pleasantly warming sensation, joined by dessert wine/beer experience, as well as a smoky character like a whiskey would have!

0.33 l bottle shared with Višnja 666 and Jadran. Oily reddish brown, small head. Moderate oak aroma, dried fruit, some alcohol, brandy with orange. Oily, dry, rough on the barrel, boozy in the taste. Toasty, bready and fruity notes. Quite heavy.

10/12/10/12/12/12

Bottle, 330 ml at Ambasada. Brown with off white head. Malty, dried fruit, lots of raisins, sherry, loads of wood, moderate sweetness, smooth texture. Tad thin on finish for abv. Interesting.

Bottle, 0.33l. Murk deep amber/brown pour, thin soapy off-white head, short lasting. Minimal lacing on the glass. Woody and liquory nose, oak, dried fruits in the background. Full body, soft carbonation. Smooth mouthfeel and texture, mild fizzy, thick and chewy. Sticky. Boozy bittersweet taste. Aroma of liquor, cherries, dried fruits. Woody notes, oak, hints of smoke. Spice. Brown sugar, molasses, yeast. Lingering alcohol burn. Some weird notes in the background, couldn't wrap my finger around it what it is but it was quite familiar...Then it hit me - its pea. Cooked pea. Quite odd but interesting nonetheless. Finishes long, boozy, dry and bitter. Interesting but I do prefer the original version.

Bottled 330ml. -from Goblet Zagreb. Deep amber/brown coloured, medium sized pale beige head that went away fast, light cheese and spices in the nose. Sweet malty, yeasty, barrel, caramel and touch of smoke with notes of peanut and discreet touch of sherry. Dry with warming finish.

Bottle at Mlinarica, thx Dime & Edi! Murky amber body, off white head. Alcohol, raisins, dried fruit and surprisingly enough, peat-like notes, strong, from the charred sherry barrel, smooth. Smooth taste as well, caramel, peaty, sweet, light citric and herbal undertones. The Belgian notes are a bit subdued but okay. Pleasant, odd, balanced winter warmer.
