We're opening Billy's story with the man (or kid?) himself: Billy the Kid! A strong American ale is what we chose to set free under the name of this American legend. This outlaw was a dangerous man, as can this big beer be with it's 10.6% ABV, so be careful not to be ambushed by its sweetness. A beer that hides its alcohol, like Billy was hiding his true name, because unlike him, who was very young, we've let this beer mature.

Bottle, 0.33l. Cloudy deep amber/brown pour, thin soapy off-white head. No lacing. Malty nose, toasted caramel, sugar, dried fruits. Sweet with a liquory touch. Medium to full body, soft to medium carbonation. Smooth mouthfeel and texture, soft, chewy, sticky. Goes down nicely. Balanced taste, sweet with lingering liquory bitterness in the background. Aroma of toasted caramel, dried fruits, raisins and plum. Molasses, syrup. Nutty notes, mild lingering alcohol in the background, warming. Medium lasting finish, dry, sweet, boozy. Mild bitterness. Tasty.

0.33 l bottle shared with Marko. Unclear amber, small off-white head. Soft cardboard. Plum and cherry. Spices, nutmeg, cloves. Light phenolic touch. Medium body, quite bitter. Oily. Spicy. Dried fruit, fruit jam. Warming. Finishes a bit sweet. Not without flaws. Nice balance.

Bottled. Red-amber body, off-white head, gone fairly soon. Papery, caramelly, hoppy aroma, dried raisins, very light alcohol and vague citric notes. Soft caramelly taste, some dried orange, some warmth, pleasant citric undertones, well balanced and drinkable for the ABV. Not as complex as hoped, still quite pleasant.

Bottled 330ml. -at Goblet Zagreb. Clear amber coloured, small off-white head, caramel and sweet dried fruits nose. Sweet malty, caramel, light toffee, fruity bubblegum and sugary with noticable alcohol. Also touch of strawberry. Sticky sweet and hard to drink.
