Huge thanks to WillemsUrenkel for that one! Bottle looks simple but good. Beer in the glass with a nice head. Starts mild, soft-malty, shy roasty notes. Mild bitter background. Not too sweet. Finish well balanced, again soft-malty. Shy chocolate. Nice!

0,5 l bottle from Dehlwisch, Lohne. BB 25.04.26. A darkest clear red brown in the glass, nearly black with a more than one finger pale beige head. Looks good. Malty with some sweetness on the nose. Taste ist malty, mid roasted with caramel and sweet elements. Some nuts. Present bitterness. Nice one.

bottiglia 50 cl, schiuma nocciola media grana media persistenza, colore ambrato carico/mogano limpido, al naso malto tostato caramello noce zucchero di canna, in bocca è cremosa malto tostato pane nero marzapane frutta secca noce castagna caramello, corpo rotondo, carbonazione moderata, dolce con amaro moderato. 0,5l bottle @ Gasthof Buchberger near Nittendorf, Germany. Head is big, tan, good retention. Colour is dark, clear. Aroma is light dark malts, dark bread, light hoppy. Taste is medium malty base, dark bread crust, bit caramel, light hoppy, decent bitterness, medium carbonation, simple yet ok, enjoyed.

Bottle from MoritzF. Thanks! Brown sugar and a touch of roast in the aroma. Roasted malt flavor, sweetish, molky, caramel and butter. Well made and tasty dunkel.

"Jacob Dunkel", Flasche (50 cl) von Grabsch, Berlin. - Kastanienrotbraun, klar. - In der Nase gedämpftes dunkles Malz, sehr milde Röstnoten (Brotkruste), schwache hopfenwürzige Herbe. - Antrunk frisch dunkelmalzig mit blasser Karamelsüße und leichter Frucht (Kirschlimonade). Wenig röstig, kaum hopfenherb. Durchschnittlich rezent, limonadenartig dünn. Abgang leicht trocken und äußerst mild hopfenwürzig mit Anklängen an Schokolade und Alufolie. Schwach muffiger Nachhall. - Frisch aber für ein „dunkles Exportbier“ zu dünn und blaß.
