Robust and complex, our Porter is a bittersweet tribute to the legendary freighter’s fallen crew—taken too soon when the gales of November came early.

Exactly what you want an American porter to be. Bittersweet, with notes of cocoa, coffee, dark fruit, and roast, with a lingering java bitterness on the back end and a creamy, semisweet fade. Absolute gem of a beer.

Bottle shared by Wendigo. Fully malty. Med-full body, med-high carbonation. Lots of chocolate, toffee, moderate honey, light coffee. Med-high sweetness, med-low bitterness, mostly roasty, hops in background. Overall quite easy drinking though, despite being on the sweet side. Good one.
