Deze Moenrye Tripel lag maar liefst 4 jaar te rijpen op een Mendocino eiken vat. Een Mendocino eiken vat is een met de hand vervaardigd houten vat dat vaak wordt geassocieerd met de wijn- en distilleerindustrie in Mendocino County, Californië. Númenor heeft het karakter van een natuurwijn, zoet, zacht zuur met duidelijke toetsen van hout. Het bier is bewust niet of weinig gesatureerd om het wijn karakter te benadrukken.

Bottle shared. Clear golden with small white head. Yoghurt, yeasty, vanilla, sweet oak, peach, balsamic vinegar, leafy, apple. Quite sweet, light bitter and sour. Full bodied. Nice one!

Bottled 750ml. -at Ambasada Zagreb. Unclear golden/amberish coloured, minimal head, barrel and light yeasty nose. Sweet taste; fruity, oaky, light spicy and touch of alcohol in the finish.

Bottle at Ambasada - huge thanks guys for letting me try it! Murky golden-amber body, off-white head. Oak in the aroma, orange, tropical touches, wild notes, light yeastiness. Smooth taste, oak, orange, spices, dried figs, very smooth, lean, just lovely overall!
