Handcrafted at the tiny All Saints Brewery set in a time warp in Stamford using the old manually operated brewing equipment. Finest organically grown barley and wheat are used to create a complex ale which, having undergone primary and secondary fermentation with different yeasts and extended maturation, is taken to Samuel Smith’s small, independent British brewery at Tadcaster. There it is blended with pure organic cherry, strawberry, raspberry or apricot fruit juices and more organic beer to create fruit beers of considerable strength and flavour. The smooth distinctive character of the matured beer serves as the perfect counterpoint to the pure organic fruit juice.

Bottle from Top Cellar, Edinburgh [010913]
Cherry red, clear, frothy off white head, nice colour
Aroma - Swizzels cherry sweets, nothing less. quite an artificial nose
Taste - Liquid cherry sweets, slight hint of the beer, less sweet than the undrinkable strawberry, but I’m not a big fan of cherry flavours bit this was quite OK, rather one dimensional though
Palate - Medium carb, sweet palate, cherry sweet. FInish as main favour, soft sweet fruity finish
Overall - Its #3 for me out of the fruit beers

Bottle from whole foods Piccadilly. Big sweet cherry aroma. Bake well tart. Sticky aroma. Bright clear red pink. Light pink frothy head. Wow really really sweet, artificially sweet. Tiny relief of tartness in the finish. Palate is medium sticky.

500 ml bottle sampled in 2008. Slightly unclear reddish orange body with a small pink head. Both aroma and flavor is artificial cherry. Flavor is sweet and sour with a hint of marzipan. Not my kind of beer (juice?)

Pours a soft, rosy colour...very lacy white head. Aroma is distinct cherry, with a strong, tart, lactic/creamy tone. Taste is very much the same... Cheesy-funky. Creamy and milky... Quite good.

Aroma of cherries but not as offensive as feared. Dark amber colour with a little sediment at the bottom of the bottle.

Bottle at home in London with Lyoli. Pours clear, matte red with a small, foamy white head. Sugary cherry and watermelon aroma. Medium sweet flavor with pleasant tart Jolly Rancher cherry character. Light bodied with fine carbonation. Light to medium sweet finish with more sweet, tart cherry candies, some cherry juice, berries, jam. There’s a very mild bitter cherry pit note. The tangy aspect really keeps the beer nice and drinkable, keeps it from getting cloying.

Bottled 355ml. -from Galerie Kaufhof Munich. Cloudy red coloured, small unclear white head, tart cherries in the nose. The taste is slightly artificial; tart cherries with notes of blood in the finish. Pretty boring. Expected better one.
