Handcrafted at the tiny All Saints Brewery set in a time warp in Stamford using the old manually operated brewing equipment. Finest organically grown barley and wheat are used to create a complex ale which, having undergone primary and secondary fermentation with different yeasts and extended maturation, is taken to Samuel Smith’s small, independent British brewery at Tadcaster. There it is blended with pure organic cherry, strawberry, raspberry or apricot fruit juices and more organic beer to create fruit beers of considerable strength and flavour. The smooth distinctive character of the matured beer serves as the perfect counterpoint to the pure organic fruit juice.

Bottle. Pours cherry with pink head. Nose/taste of sweet cherry juice and Luden’s cough drops with a touch of sweet malt. Very drinkable, but more juice-like than beer. Medium body.

Bottle @ Home. Pours light pinkish amber with a offwhite head. Aroma of artificial cherries, sugar. Taste is light bready malt, sweet artificial cherry, sugar, notes of marzipan. Thin body, lively carbonation. Fairly good looking, but this is to sweet for me. 281111

Bottle. Cloudy neon red, light pink head. Strong candyish cherry notes, Straw malt body underneath, light metallic notes, medium body, sparkly mouthfeel. Cherry and lime finish.

33cl bottle. Pours a cloudy red colour with good bubbles and a good head. The nose is like cherry throat lozenges and is quite perfumey really. The taste is not quite as rich as the nose, there is a big cherry hit at the start and then a wave of creaminess comes through which then subsides and some cherry remains at the end. The palate is quite rich, with a creamy texture and a finish which although sweet is still refreshing. Overall, good but I wouldn’t want another!

Clear ruby red beer, small light pink head, unstable, adhesive. Aroma: "poepkes", very sweet cherry candy. MF: ok carbon, light body. Taste: very fruity, cherries, cherry candy, little bitter. Aftertaste: sweet, sweet, sweet, pfff... boring.
