Bottle 50 cl. Pours black with a modest, orange hue and a beige head. Pleasant nose, more licorice than roast. Medium body, again sweet licorice all over although none is added. It may be a little one-dimensional, but it's super smooth, pleasant and highly drinkable. No bitterness to speak of. 230821

Shared 500 ml bottle at local tasting, from Prima Beer, Hobro. ABV is 8.0%. Very dark brown colour, nearly black. Huge beige head. Aroma of smoked malts, tar and old rope, hints of liquorice. Smokey flavour, probably German smoked malts rather than peated, mid between dry and sweet. Moderate hops in the finish. Again a hint of liquorice.

Shared bottle at RB/HD at Bjørnøy 12.05.15. Almost black. Huge and foamy pale brown head and lacing. Aroma of creosote, burnt circuit boards and green apples. Similar taste, with vanilla sweetness.
