[Thanks to fonefan]. 50cl bottle. Black colour with a minimal and quickly dissapearing tan head. Aroma is licorice, light smoky, chocolate and toasty. Flavor has the same characteristics as aroma dominating the coffee notes but without disturb. On palate results creamy, smooth and rounded, very good compensated.

Sample from 50 cl. bottle. Black with a small, tan head. Aroma with roasted malts, chocolate, light smoke and coffee. Sweet taste. Medium to full body with a creamy and pleasant texture. Palate is excellent for a stout. Finishes quite sweet with roasted and caramel malts, coffee, peat and licorice. A very good stout. Highly recommended, Djævlebrygs best.

A bottle from Barley Wine Copenhagen. A robust but rather sweet potent stout wih a smoky extra dimension on top of coffee and chocolate tones. Complelx, rich but yet fairly drinkable. My first but not last Djaevlebryg.

50cl bottle thanks to onkelgobber.Pours opaque black with a nicely proportioned fawn head. Nose of dark chocolate with a very hint of smoke though the smoke builds and then becomes the dominant note. Later there is a berry note, perhaps raspberries. The taste has perfectly intermingled smoke and chocolate. The palate is brilliantly balanced, full bodied with a smokey and creamy middle section and an elegant long finish. Overall, a stunning beer.

Draught @ Ølfestival København

Pours pitch black with a nice smooth head. Aroma of roasted malts, licorice, chocolate and coffee. Taste is roasty and slightly sweet with notes of licorice, tar, chocolate and spices. Finish is roasty and long lasting with some sweetness. Okay, quite tasty stout.

Aroma is roasted with licorice and some ash. Flavour has licorice, some metallic savor and ash. Dry and roasted finish. Good, although the savor disturbs here a bit. It disappears towards the end though.
