Buying this can at the Alcampo, Sevilla. Sharing it on the last thursday with Mariella, Geraldo and my wife at our rented flat. A rather boring unfiltered beer comparing with the Appenzeller version. This one is light, watery, malty, smooth, yeasty, 22.10.23

0,33 boks fra MAS Nerja, på balconasen i solnedgangen: lett uklar gylden med fint skum som varer. Brød, noe floralt kombinert med litt urter og skog. Mild bitterhet i avslutningen. Slett ikke verst mtp alt jeg har vært igjennom denne ferien.

33 cl. can @the apartment in Playa de las Americas.
Hazy dark golden with a white head. Malty aroma with some yeast. Sweet taste with a full sweet finish. Nice break from all the boring lagers over here

330ml can bought at a Consum store in La Vila Joiosa. Pearl white head, close-to-clear amber golden body, rings of lace down the glass. Modest aromas of cereal malts and oily hops. Rather strange kind of taste, slightly sourish. Woody. Sourish endnotes. Possible to drink. (Apartment, La Vila Joiosa, 22.02.2024).

New addition to Mahou's portfolio, clearly drawing on the hype of El Águila sin filtrar, which was perhaps the first purely commercial unfiltered lager in Spain and has enjoyed certain success. Canned. A hazy dark golden pour with a thick, mostly lacing, short-lived off-white head. Aroma is bread, iron filings, porridge, burnt caramel, oatmeal. Medium-bodied, slick, sugary and starchy. Slight bitterness in the long-lingering aftertaste. Not bad, though nothing to set the world on fire.
