Keg at BD Shepherds Boost, 28/07/23. Golden pour with an off white covering. Nose is malt forward, hedgerow, grains, sultanas. Taste comprises fruit loaf, bready notes, biscuit, grains, biscuit, dried fruit rinds. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Solid Marzen.

Keg at BrewDog Seven Dials, 22/06/23. Clear golden with an off white cap that dissipates to a swirl. Nose is pale and bready malts, cereals, light stewed fruits, modest herb. Taste comprises biscuit, corn husk, pale malts, grains, light sugary edge. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Okay Logger Bier but overly sweet thus not delivering the refreshment I craved.

Amber with a frothy, white head. Aroma of honey over fresh cereals. Taste is mildly bitter with a touch of lingering, honey sweetness. Medium-bodied, mild carbonation. Simple. Pleasant.
