Bottle 375ml @ Rasmus hytte. Pours black with a tan head. Aroma has notes of roasted malt, chocolate, cocoa, alcohol, vanilla and oak. Taste is medium to heavy sweet and medium bitter with a long roasted, chocolate, cocoa, vanilla and oak finish. Body is full, texture is oily, carbonation is soft.

Tap @ Peders. Black with a beige head. Aroma is sweet, roasted malt, molasses, light burnt and heavy bourbon. Flavor is very sweet and moderate bitter. Dry and moderate bitter finish with lots of warming alcohol. Oily and a bit boozy. 121123

Bottle from Janes. Pours inky black, small brown head, decent lacing. Aroma is rich and earthy, dark bakers cocoa, vanilla, bourbon, charred oak. Flavor is medium sweet, light plus bitter, rich and complex. Full body. Quite hot.

2023 bottle from Harvest. Pours a deep brown to black with a finger of brown head that lingers. Big bourbon, oaky focused nose with fig, prune, dark chocolate and vanilla aromas. More of the same on the palate. Medium bodied with lingering dark fruit, bourbon, vanilla and mild toasted coconut notes. Warming bourbon on the finish.

Draft at Peders, Copenhagen. Poured almost black in colour with a round frothy tan head. The aroma is roasty malt, molasses. The flavour strong sweet, with a smooth, rich, silky smooth, oily, light herbal, liqourice, warm alcohol bitter palate. Full bodied with flat carbonation.

During Jackie O's TTO after MBCC first day. Shared with Phill, Balder, Will, Brian, and Ryan. Barrel, sweet, dark fruits, molasses. Lots of whiskey barrel in the taste. Nice one.
