Tap at Juova, Helsinki. Very full body, low carbonation. Lots of sweetness, but balanced with high roasty bitterness, and med-high booziness. The warmth is in between soft and sharp, and lots of it. That is in turns balanced by loads of chocolate, shitloads of spices. Feels more spicy than carroty, I do not get much carrot here. Quite good, but so verry strong.

0,125l on tap @ Juova. Pours thick black with a high brown head. Aroma is sweet roasted malts with chocolate and alcohol. Flavor is sweet roasted malts, chocolate, coffee, dark fruits, alcohol, hops. Can't find the carrot but it's good.

Opaque dark brown beer, small brown head that doesn't hang around. Fluffy palate, decent fine carbonation. Good chocolate malts, about 75% dark chocolate and the rest milk chocolate and a touch of ganache. Obvious fruity carrot with a suitable amount of rounded spices. A touch of vanilla makes a decent play T some icing. Finishes rich and fruity and with a brandy soaked pudding. Mostly hides the hefty 15% abv. Nice job, the only drawback is I don't want my carrot cake covered in chocolate. This concept would ring more true as a barleywine methinks. Still a very nice pastry stout.

bottle at home... dark black.. thinest lacing... soft sweet spiced carrot cake nose... dark chocolate roast malts.. heavy sweet sticky.. warming spice.. it's nailed carrot cake
