Bottle: Poured a burnt orange with a thin off white cream head. Aroma is sweet along with yeast. Taste is maple syrup sugar with a sweet finish.

Bottle at Kent BF 08. Cloudy orange colour with thin beige head. Sweet aroma, some yeast and oxidation. Bit sickly sweet on the malts. Bit obvious on the alcohol and the sweet malts. OK winter beer, some pepper/spice. Fine.

Bottle. Realy bad infected botle produced dec. 2005, worse than any Samsø I have tasted!!!!! Bad bad bad.

Bottle, at papsoe’s place. Orange body, with lots of microfloaties, topped by a diminishing, dense, beige head. There were lots of carbonation as well, the beer volcanoed out of the bottle. Sweetish, fruity and yeasty aroma and flavor, quite dry in the mouth. Medium body. Fruity and yeasty finish. Quite nice, but it fails to impress. Dangerously quaffable, as it hides its 9.4% ABV really well. Rating: 6-4-6-3-13-3.2. 071005
Bottle. An unclear, orange-golden beer topped by a small, dense, off-white head. Sweetish and fruity nose, quite boring. The same can be said about the flavor, where some pale malts also shine through. Medium body, warming. Sweet, fruity finish. Overall, too sweet, but a decent beer. 100115

(Bottle 33 cl) Courtesy of tbone_. Pours a cloudy golden with a small, rough, off-white head. Unclean aroma of fruit and chemicals. Quite full-bodied with very sweet, fruity accents and a weird edge of plastic. Terribly unclean. 051007

33 cL bottle. Pours hazy orange with a lacing white head. Slight mouldy aroma. Honey flavour, sweet malty and mellow spice flavoured. Ends slight spiced and honey flavoured. Mediocre to bad aroma, but quite nice flavour.

bottled (thanks tbone_!). 1/4:th of the bottle went on the table and floor, hazy orange colour, small white head and floating particles in it. Aroma is very spicy and hoppy, with some malts in it. Flavour is is candy sugar and some not too sweet fruits. Not much alcohol notes in it. Still a quite well done brew, though not much special in it.

Bottled 12/2005. This beer was very lively when I opened the bottle. Color is hazy orange, firm small white head and lots of floating yeast. Aroma is dominated by cinnamon and ginger. Same spices also in the flavor, not so strong but evident. Typical Dutch apricot flavoured candy sugar sweetness on the background. Not much alcohol shown out here. Bottle does not mention about spices, just currant, raisin and apricot plus also Saaz and Northern Brewer hops - I can’t find them here.

(Aged a few years) Old gold colour. Big bubbles, irregular head, lively. Nose of an alcohol-laden cake, cookies, caramel, prickly sensation. Quite sweet taste with bitterish overtones as by burnt caramel. Very slight maderisation. Alcohol again very prominent. Sweet finish, treacle-like, but not cloying. Alcoholburn, but smooth. I agree with Per's peppery finish. I was never very impressed by 3 Horne's beers when fresh. Ageing definitely seems to become them. Not that difficult at 9.4%. Still, worth trying.

Amber coloured. Fruity aroma with a hint of strawberry. Sweet with a hint of toffee. Peppery finish.
