Backlog January 2010. Dim golden body under a small white head. Aroma has dry fruit with toffee, malt and alcohol. Taste is a bit better than expected from aroma, sweet malt, caramel, dry fruit and alcohol. Decent body and same sweet malt/dry fruit aftertaste. Not so impressive in aroma and taste, but not bad either as total impression.

Brown sugar and cinnamon in the aroma. Sweet, just a bit vinous flavor with cane sugar and cinnamon. Alcohol character is masked somewhat by the sugary sweetness.

Tap at ’t Arendsnest. Slightly hazy, rich gold pour with a foamy head. Some caramel and cereal in the nose, hints of ripe fruits, faint booze. Malty flavor, some sharp grains, sugar, very little bit of bitterness. Medium in body with fine carbonation. Lightly warming on the finish, a little bland, some fruits, sugar and cereal. Just okay.

Bottle, 9.4%. Cloudy orange colour, small white head. Yeasty flavour, some malt syrup, not really a good combination. Gets a bit alcoholic in the finish.
