Clear copper color, medium off-white head. Aroma of weak hop, some caramel malt, slight hint of alcohol. Bit malty and hoppy taste, some alcohol. Dry salty palate indeed.

Bottled. Hazy brownish amber, small head. Caramelly nose. Sweet, well rounded and medium bodied. Mild and toffeeish with some corn and caramel. Drier finish. Definitely a step up from the expected Harboe quality. Many more steps are required before I’d drink it again though.

500ml bottle (15.06.2007) at a hotel room in Copenhagen. Nice clear, dark brown pour. Good amount of off-white foam. Malty sweetness and light grainy aroma. The taste is a mix of caramel maltiness and dry hops. Medium to full mouthfeel (13.01.2007).

Nice hazy amber color. Strange and strong aroma of cheap chocolate drink (Nesquick…). Alcoholic beverage with sweet caramel added to a Strong Lager.

An amber beer with a huge orange head. The aroma is sweet with strong notes of caramel, but also a light dusty hoppy note, and hints of alcohol. The flavor is sweet with strong notes of peaches combined with a sour note of figs. The hops comes late with a dusty note, leading to a dry metallic alcoholic end, which still bears some of the fruityness.

Bottled. Dark golden, almost copper in color, with a diminishing beige head. The nose has sweet maltyness, caramel, hops and some alcohol. The alcohol comes first and strongest in the mouth, and is followed by caramel, malt and some hop-like notes. Medium body and a finish that starts with some bitterness, but is soon replaced by alcohol. (060518)

Light brown/copper with white head. Caramel malt and average use of hops. The taste is first medium sweet and then a bitter finish. This beer doesnt kill or really thrill to much. But it was better than expected. Very pleasant (a bit like mørk guld from Svaneke bryghus)
