Bottle. Poured amber with a thin off-white head. Aroma had strong alcohol notes with some underlying caramel malt. There were strong alcohol notes as well in the flavor. Beer was very thick on the tongue.

Bottled (BB 08/2009). Deep amber color, good beige head. Caramel, grass, some berries in the nose. Flavor is similar, some grass, a bit grainy, caramel malts and berries. Some Scandinavian XMas beers are similar. This is not an ESL.

subdued but nice (sweet notes) aroma. Looks clear and dark, small head that is okay. Flavor is rather uninteresting, like i f someone brewed something and thinned it down wit water and beefed it up with pure alc.. alc. can be felt, mostly due to lack of other strong tastes. Palate is okay, not exactly watery, but sort of cheap pilsener like.

50 cL bottle. Pours hazy brown/amber with lacing orange orange. Sweet malt aroma. Slight fruity and harboeish aroma. Sweet caramel malt and sugar, quite sweet. Bread flavour. Goes into a slight roasted note before it becomes bitter-sweet in the finish. Nice.

500 ml bottle. Nice amber body with a beige head. Aroma is malt and sweet caramel with traces of hops. Flavor is sweet, malty, hint of bitter and alcohol. A bit thin and simple, some bitterness in the aftertaste. Almost OK as an lager, but below the expectation from the “farmer brew” hype.
