Bottle from Cotteridge Wines and drunk at home Black beer thick tan head. Very drinkable strong dark beer. Plenty of chewy blackberry and blackcurrant and molasses. Lots of dark malt. Really rather decent. Hides abv well. Some bitterness on the finish. Dark chocolate. Light coffee presence. More a tarry malty molasses character. Good fruit.

Bottle @ Ratebeer Odense, Summer Tasting 2023. Pours Black with a frothy beige head and lacings. Massive hops. Citrus and grapefruit. Dry and roasted with notes of ashes and coffee. Tight - as I expected.

On tap at The Green Goddess, Blackheath. Black pour with a tan head. Nose of plum jam, raisin, chocolate, blackcurrant jam. Taste is raisin, coffee, blackcurrant jam, touch of liquorice toffee. Rich malty lightly bitter finish. Very nice indeed.

Dark roasted malty, with notes of cocoa, charred brown sugar, earthy ashy roast, nice hoppy action coming through, nice mouthfeel and full bodied, hoppy and dark roasted malty lingering finish.
