Bottle 500ml (MBS)
Dark brown color, small off-white head. Aroma has caramel, wort and grainy barley. Light to medium bodied. Dry, toasted malty, hints of Worcester sauce. Some caramel in the finish. Although it is "kloster", it feels slightly industrial. Drinkable anyway.

Nose is raisin. Mouth is not very intensive raisin aroma, plus some roasty notes. Black colour, minimal white head. Light sweetness, lightly sour, also a bit salty. Thin texture, even a bit watery, lively carbonation (too high in my opinion). Overall too sweet, too much raisin aroma, too few roasty aroma. Not bad, but does not have much to offer.

I brought this home from Germany, I believe the photo is my bottle, purchased in Rothenberg. Dark brown. Lots of grain in the aroma and also in the flavor. Lightly sweet malt and more flavorful as it warms. A great session beer.
