On tap pours out golden topped with a white head. Nose is nice grain sweet caramel malts and some citrus hops. Taste is more of the citrus hops and some sweet caramel bread malts.

31/10/2024. Draft on the rooftop bar of the Nine Trees hotel, Insadong, Seoul watching the sun setting over Seoul. No disrespect meant to the beer but the view was the highlight. The beer poured clear amber gold with a small frothy off-white head. Aroma is malty, resin, sap, stewed fruits, caramel, butterscotch. Medium sweetness, moderate bitterness and body. Above average carbonation. The beer was quite basic but okay.

On tap at Tap Public, pours a clear bright copper golden with a medium white head. Aroma reeks of old, stale hops, bready malt and cardboard. Flavour is not as offensive, with bready malt, cardboardy and some metallic notes. Not fresh; the hops seem dead. But I doubt this was any good fresh either.

--Canned, from Home Depot, Busan. -- Clear pale amber, mid sized head. Piney nose with some citrus. Mid sweet with light to medium body and clean, rounded mouthfeel. Piney grapefruit, caramel and bread. Resinous bitter finish,. Archetypical and rather basic APA.

5.2 abv with clean white design. I guess its the same beer though. Aroma is nice lime hop profile with Caramel and some yeast. Taste is bitter hops with some resin. Rather thin and not too exciting. Overall quite light and drinkable with nice hops. Not bad.

A bit dullish blonde sort of colour. The aroma is quite fruity, apricots, mint, grapefruit and some tropical accents. Fairly bitter, in that SNPA sort of way, with a decent malt base. The hops aren't as bright on the palate as they are on the aroma, but that's the way for this classic 80s/90s APA. The bigger issue for me is the clunky dull thud of the malts, just some heavy-handed crystal, not a lot of positive pale malt sweetness and none of it complements the hops much. All told, there's some positive elements here, but it lacks the bright expression of a modern pale ale.

(Can) Note that this beer seems to have changed - it is now 5.2% ABV and 43 IBU, and the can is different from tripe picture - http://www.platinumbeer.com/bbs/board.php?bo_table=21&wr_id=26) Pours clear golden amber with big white head. Nice citrus and pine aroma. Light body, rather fizzy. Taste is rather restrained / thin, although has all the flavours you expect. There’s some modest citrus tang at the start, some nice biscuity malt in the background, some peppery notes, and pleasant hoppy bitterness in the finish. All fine, and very easy drinking, but too restrained.

Tap at Monalisa, Itaweon. Clear golden colour, good white head. Some malts, grassy aroma. Light-bodied. Pale malty, grassy flavour. English vibe. Easy.
